Compass Concierge
Plenty of houses would sell faster and for more money with some work done first. The trouble is that the seller is often trying to buy the next place at the same time, and paying a painter and a stager out of pocket is the last thing they want to do. Compass Concierge is the program for that. Compass fronts the cost of home improvement services, with no interest, ever, and you pay it back later.
How it works
You and your agent work out together which services are likely to add the most to your home’s value, and set an estimated budget for the work. This is the step where we are most useful to you, because some improvements come back to you in the sale price and some never do, and we will tell you which is which.
When you are ready to start, we are beside you as you engage the vendors and commission the work. The process is designed for speed, so the work can begin, and the house can sell, as quickly as possible. Once the work is finished the house goes on the market.
You pay for the services when one of the following happens: your home sells, you terminate your listing agreement with Compass, or 12 months pass from your Concierge start date. There are no upfront costs and there is no interest.

The program is intentionally flexible, and Compass developed it to be used with most vendors. If the work you need is missing from the list, ask us about it.
